The Shared Services Executive Assistant (EA) is a hybrid operational role designed to keep Radius running smoothly while extending high-level executive support to small businesses in our network.
You will work directly with the Executive Director on internal business operations for ~10 hours per week. The remaining ~20 hours per week will be allocated by Radius to provide fractional executive assistant services to select member businesses within our community. The EA will have a direct role in selecting which members to serve and on what contract terms. Mutual fit is an essential part of designing this role to benefit both the member and the EA.

What You’ll Do
1. Radius Internal Operations (~10 hrs/week)
Administrative & Financial Operations: Resolve payment processing, light bookkeeping, data entry, and invoice processing through QuickBooks and Stripe.
Scheduling & Systems: Manage calendars, event/space schedules, and communications in Slack, Outlook, and Trello.
Process Improvement: Evaluate current admin workflows, update internal templates, polish intake forms, and help refine automated integrations (using Zapier, Trello, and Google Workspace) to keep operations streamlined.
General Operations Support: Work collaboratively with the Executive Director on internal administrative tasks, pickups/deliveries, event planning, and coordination with key stakeholders including property manager, building owner, and economic development partners —note: this role is operational and does not include front-desk, hospitality, or direct member-community management responsibilities.
2. Member Shared Executive Services (~20 hrs/week)
Fractional Executive Support: Provide dedicated support to 2–3 member-clients within the Radius network.
Core Task Scope:
Calendar management and scheduling
Travel planning and booking
Inbox triage and response drafting; meeting coordination
Light invoicing, basic document drafting, and client follow-ups
Scoping & Client Matching: Radius will manage client intake, draft Statements of Work (SOWs), and partner with you to ensure every member-client assignment is a clear fit for your bandwidth and skillset.
Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
Exceptional organization, attention to detail, and reliability.
Ability to switch contexts smoothly between internal Radius tasks and member-client projects.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Comfort working in a hybrid environment with a minimum of 3 days per week on-site at our downtown Erie space.
Tech Stack / Tools You’ll Use:
Office & Productivity: Google Workspace (G Suite), Microsoft Office (including Outlook), Trello, Slack; Also helpful is experience with Monday, Asana, Discord, Teams, Jira, and video call tools
Operations & Scheduling: TeamUp Calendar, Squarespace, Mailchimp, Calendly
Finance & Automation: QuickBooks, Stripe, Zapier, AI Agents
Desired Qualifications
Experience with basic bookkeeping, invoicing, or data entry.
Familiarity with common cloud business applications and light automation (e.g., Zapier, SquareSpace, Google Forms, Monday, or more sophisticated tools like Claude, Gemini, Chat).
Background in or familiarity with small business ecosystems, startup environments, or freelancing.
Work Environment
The Executive Assistant will work within Radius CoWork. Most of the work will be conducted on-site, 3 days per week. The schedule for this role is negotiable, both total hours per week and daily start/end time.
Compensation and Benefits
This is a W2 employee role compensated at $25/hr.
This role includes full complimentary membership at Radius CoWork, including high-speed fiber internet, meeting room access, locally roasted coffee, and an inspiring workplace surrounded by Erie’s active small business community.
Note: Your hourly rate will be guaranteed by Radius regardless of your contract status with member-clients. The rate billed to member-clients will be higher than your hourly rate to account for transaction costs and Radius margin. We want to be upfront about the relationship between Radius, you, and our client-members. This position does not offer medical healthcare coverage or retirement benefits. Unlimited membership to the coworking space is included, as is unlimited downtown parking.
