I’m a software architect, technical founder, and AI builder based in Erie, Pennsylvania. Throughout my career, I’ve specialized in designing and scaling high-throughput enterprise platforms from the ground up. Today, I’m the Co-Founder and Chief Architect at Background Pro, where our team is using modern cloud architecture and applied AI to reinvent background screening with next-level speed, compliance, and automation. Through my consulting company, Snyder Technology, I also dive deep into custom agentic workflows, agentic orchestration, and technical strategy for modern software ventures.

Over the past two decades, I’ve had the opportunity to build platforms at national scale, all while working remotely right here from Erie. Starting in 2007 at Crimcheck, I spent fifteen years co-architecting their core operations platform, helping scale the company to the Inc. 5000 list before its acquisition by DISA in 2022. Since then, I’ve focused heavily on the frontier of AI-native engineering and multi-agent systems, proving that small, focused teams equipped with the right tools can out-build traditional legacy operations. Radius has been my downtown home base and creative anchor through that journey.

I earned my degree in Management Information Systems from Penn State. Having built a career remotely from Erie long before it was common, I care a lot about this city’s startup and creative ecosystem; whether that’s talking shop with local founders, collaborating on new ideas, or just helping someone debug a thorny problem. Outside of work, you can usually find me hosting board game nights with friends, bowling, cooking on the grill, or spending quiet downtime at home.
