Founder, Volantix LLC

Ethan Dlugos is a senior Interdisciplinary Business with Engineering major at Penn State Behrend with a strong passion for building innovative businesses. He serves as the project manager within the NWPA Beehive Network at Behrend’s Innovation Commons, where he works with entrepreneurs to take early-stage ideas to real-world prototypes.

With a deep interest in drone technology and automated systems, Ethan leads Behrend’s Unmanned Aerial Systems team in advanced flight technology, autonomy, and applied engineering as president of the club. He is also the founder of Volantix LLC, a professional drone media and technical services company focused on precision data capture and high-impact visual content.

Driven by curiosity and eagerness to learn, Ethan is constantly exploring emerging technologies and applying them to real-world challenges, particularly in photogrammetry, LiDAR scanning, and data driven solutions. Outside of academics and entrepreneurship, he is an avid skier, golfer, and likes spending time outdoors.
