On Sabbatical
Hi, I’m Lesley! After more than a decade plus working in communications, marketing, community development, and education, I’m currently taking a bit of a sabbatical: slowing down, spending more time with my family, caretaking, and figuring out what I want the next chapter of work and life to look like.
These days, I’m homeschooling my very curious 10-year-old, reading my way through an ever-growing home library, writing when inspiration strikes, and generally following whatever rabbit hole catches my attention.
A few other things about me:
• I love good books, good food, travel, photography, and the kind of conversation that starts with one topic and somehow ends up somewhere completely different.
• I’m endlessly interested in how people build things: businesses, communities, brands, cultures, creative projects, and lives that actually work for them.
• I’m an introvert who genuinely likes people preferably in small groups, over coffee, with something interesting to talk about.
I’m always happy to talk about communications and marketing, entrepreneurship, education and homeschooling, books, creativity, parenting, community, or whatever you’re currently building or figuring out. Open to flexible consulting work.
