Paniz is the founder of The BakerHood, a local platform that helps customers discover and connect with independent home bakers. She created The BakerHood after experiencing firsthand how difficult it can be for small baking businesses to gain visibility beyond social media and word of mouth.

Her background in UX design, technology, and entrepreneurship has shaped her approach to building a platform that is both useful for customers and supportive of local bakers. Paniz holds a master’s degree in Computer Science and also runs her own home baking business.

She is currently focused on growing The BakerHood throughout the Erie community, building local partnerships, and developing the platform for future expansion into additional cities.
