Yash Kasini is a builder at heart — driven by the belief that technology, when applied correctly, can radically simplify how businesses operate.
Originally from India, Yash moved to the United States in 2022 to pursue his Master’s in Information Technology at Gannon University, graduating in 2024. But his journey into technology began long before that. Early in his career, he worked as a Product Engineer at a rapidly scaling tech startup, gaining firsthand experience in turning ideas into production systems. He later served as a Data Officer at one of India’s largest nonprofit foundations, helping power data infrastructure for over 10 million people across 100+ programs — work that sharpened his ability to think at scale.
At Gannon, Yash immersed himself in the startup ecosystem, working closely with the university’s Innovation & Incubation Center to help founders launch products, raise early capital through Kickstarter campaigns, and overcome technical barriers. He also worked as an IHack Student Analyst at a data intelligence firm, applying advanced machine learning to real-world problems — reinforcing his conviction that AI is not just a tool, but the future of decision-making.
After graduation, Yash joined United Way of Erie County as a Database Specialist, where he continues to work at the intersection of data, technology, and community impact.
Yash is the co-founder of StayX, alongside his twin brother Yashash and friend Manohar. The idea for StayX was born from lived experience: growing up in a family that owned franchise businesses, Yash saw firsthand how outdated tools, fragmented data, and operational blind spots held operators back. He believes the next generation of companies will be built on AI-native systems — and StayX is his answer to that belief.
Today, Yash is building StayX to reimagine how franchise and multi-location businesses operate — replacing guesswork with intelligence, and complexity with clarity.
