Hi! I’m a recent graduate from the University of Pittsburgh, where I studied Film and Media Production. My first year was sort of a bust with the looming threat of COVID-19, but in the short three years following, I discovered just how much I love to be crammed on set with a bunch of people trying to make a script come to life.
With the major in its infancy, I had the opportunity to be a “guinea pig” for several courses. This environment made me into sort of a chameleon, having to step in for several crew roles to help my peers; but I quickly took to producing, whether it be my own projects, my classmates’, or freelance opportunities – I’m really great at bossing people around (kidding!) I’ve spent many hours reading other peoples’ scripts and giving feedback, as well as writing and receiving my own, and have been paid actual money for handling editing and post production!
Some of my coolest accomplishments include filming an interview with Mayor Ed Gainey, studying in LA for a month (and participating in standup at a comedy club), being on a music video set with Wiz Khalifa, and… well I don’t know how you beat that.
