Born and raised in Erie, Jennifer Hunt Roden has built a career as a school psychologist for Erie’s Public Schools since 2006. Starting out, she earned a B.A. Music at Edinboro University in 1998 and taught elementary general and instrumental music in Titusville, PA. While in Titusville, she earned an M.Ed. and Ed. Jennifer is a 1994 Central High School grad and is a proud member of Erie Reader’s 40 under 40 class of 2016. Jennifer has been dreaming up a podcast to support parents, and is thrilled to have landed at Radius to collaborate and record. Her goal is to provide a nonjudgmental, friendly space for parents and teachers to ask questions about their child’s learning, development, and behavior. Whether it is for general advice, a second opinion, or starting point, Jen is here to help! Jennifer is also a freelance vocalist, yoga practitioner, and passionate outdoor enthusiast who enjoys hiking, mountains, SUP, and any chance to get outside. She lives and plays near Edinboro with her husband, John, and their cat, Pete. She thanks you for tuning in to Ask JenPsych, wherever you listen to podcasts.
