Owner, Woofie’s Erie
Stacey will be opening Woofie’s of Erie in the Spring of 2027. After living in northern Virginia for 20+ years, she and her husband retired from the federal government and moved to Erie for her husband’s post-retirement job. An avid dog lover, Stacey was a client of the original Woofie’s pet care services business in Ashburn, VA for 20 years (one of their original clients).
Woofie’s has been so successful it is now a franchise owned by Authority Brands with over 80 locations all over the United States. While Stacey recognizes that Erie has some fantastic pet care services already available, she believes there are still plenty of pet owners out there who can use the services provided by Woofie’s (walking, midday/afternoon visits, overnight sitting (at the pet owner’s house) and mobile grooming). She is a very strong believer in getting involved in the community and collaborating/supporting all kinds of businesses. Additionally, she is very excited to be bringing a woman veteran-owned business to Erie.
After serving as a Signals Intelligence officer in the United States Marine Corps, Stacey spent 20 years in federal law enforcement followed by several years in the Senior Executive Service in the federal government providing exemplary leadership and mentorship within her Bureau.
When she isn’t working to get her business up and running, Stacey enjoys spending time with her husband, Ted, and dogs (Sadie, Sophie and Sammie) and keeping track of how her adult children are doing.
